Teddy Code LLC maintains a zero-tolerance policy toward child sexual abuse material (CSAM) and any content that exploits, endangers, or sexualizes minors. This page describes the standards we apply to Stusher in compliance with applicable laws and the Google Play Store's Child Safety Standards requirements.
1. Zero-tolerance policy
We do not allow, tolerate, or facilitate the creation, sharing, distribution, promotion, or solicitation of child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or any content that sexually exploits, endangers, or otherwise harms minors. Any such content discovered on or through Stusher will be removed immediately, and the responsible accounts will be banned and reported to law enforcement.
2. Stusher's product surface
Stusher does not allow user-generated content, in-app messaging, public profiles, social features, or uploads of any kind. Users only interact with metadata about commercially distributed movies and series, which is sourced from established third-party catalogs (such as TMDB). Stusher does not host, stream, or deliver video content directly.
Because Stusher has no user-generated content surface, the most likely vector for CSAM in our ecosystem would be third-party metadata. We mitigate this risk through the controls described below.
3. Compliance with the Google Play CSAM Standards
We comply with each of the four core requirements:
3.1 Published standards against CSAM
This page itself is our published standard. It is publicly accessible at
stusher.app/child-safety and is linked from our app store listings, our Privacy Policy, and
our website footer.
3.2 In-app reporting mechanism
You can report any concern about CSAM or child safety directly to us at safety@stusher.app. Reports are reviewed by a member of our team within 24 hours of receipt. We confirm receipt of every report and, where appropriate, take immediate action and notify the reporter of the resolution.
3.3 Action on CSAM
When we identify CSAM, we will:
- Remove the content immediately from any surface we control.
- Preserve evidence as required by law.
- Report the incident to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) via the CyberTipline, and to local authorities where applicable, in accordance with U.S. law (18 U.S.C. § 2258A) and equivalent obligations in other jurisdictions.
- Cooperate fully with law enforcement investigations.
3.4 Compliance with all applicable laws
We comply with all applicable laws regarding child safety, including (but not limited to) U.S. federal law, the EU Digital Services Act, the UK Online Safety Act, and equivalent laws in other markets where Stusher is available.
4. Age gating
Stusher is rated for ages 13+ (or 16+ in the EU/EEA, where applicable). The App enforces an age gate during onboarding. Users below the minimum age are not permitted to use the Service.
5. Filtering of mature content
Stusher's catalog contains entries with maturity ratings. By default, recommendations exclude titles rated above the user's declared age. Users may not lower the maturity threshold below the rating appropriate for their declared age.
6. Designated child safety contact
The point of contact for any child safety inquiry, including from law enforcement, is:
Stusher Child Safety
Email: safety@stusher.app
Response time: within 24 hours for safety-related reports.
Escalation: legal@stusher.app
7. External resources
If you encounter CSAM anywhere online — not just on Stusher — please report it to:
- NCMEC CyberTipline (US): report.cybertip.org
- Internet Watch Foundation (UK/global): report.iwf.org.uk
- INHOPE (international hotlines network): inhope.org
8. Updates
We review and update these standards regularly to reflect evolving best practices and legal requirements.
